Ultimate Communication Systems has been conducting business throughout California and on select national projects since 1987, designing and building prestigious commercial projects, large hospitals, resort hotels, luxury apartments, condominiums, universities and schools. SENIOR MANAGEMENT

Robert J. Bohan, RCDD, President and CEO

Robert Bohan is the President and founder of Ultimate Communication Systems, bringing over 25 years of hands-on industry experience and technical expertise to every project. Mr. Bohan began his career as an installer and has held every conceivable position within the industry. He has expert level knowledge in telecommunications, sound, audio visual and security systems, holding numerous certifications in many disciplines. Mr. Bohan has successfully overseen thousands of projects in and around Southern California and across the U.S.

Barbie R. Viveros, CFO & Controller

Barbie Viveros joined Ultimate Communication Systems in 1999 and is responsible for the financial management of the organization. Ms. Viveros is also responsible for contract negotiations, contract and OCIP compliance, labor and prevailing wage compliance. Ms. Viveros came from an extensive background in real estate administration and management. Her past experience included managing the administration, accounting and investor reporting arms of a real estate syndicator. Ms. Viveros was also a paralegal for a major public utility company and spent several years as a legal assistant at a major law firm.

Donald J. Averill, RCDD, Installation and Service Manager

Mr. Averill’s vast knowledge and hands on expertise comes from over 20 years in the telecommunication and security industry, the last 9 managing Ultimate Communication Systems Installation and Service departments. Mr. Averill holds numerous factory and trade certifications, and his expert-level experience in every conceivable low voltage discipline allows him to direct our field forces with extreme competence and efficiency. Prior to joining Ultimate Communication Systems, Mr. Averill was employed by a major national electronics retailer as a supervisor of all internal, low voltage systems. When Mr. Averill was active in the US Navy, he was responsible for repairing aircraft Auto Pilot systems.

Sam L. Akerson, Operations

Mr. Akerson brings a combined 25 years of electronic, telecommunications, operational, project management and purchasing experience to Ultimate Communication Systems. Prior to entering the industry, Mr. Akerson was a member of the US Navy and holds an Associate Degree in Electronic Technology and Liberal Arts.

Raymond M. Lynch, RCDD, Senior Project Manager

Mr. Lynch brings more than 12 years of applied practical experience across the spectrum of low voltage and telecommunication disciplines. Mr. Lynch holds numerous factory certifications and has earned an RCDD. Mr. Lynch personally oversees most large scale telecommunication projects for the organization. Prior to entering the industry, Mr. Lynch was a member of the United States Marine Corps.

Donald Ramirez, Engineering and Estimating Manager

Mr. Ramirez joined Ultimate Communication Systems in 2004, bringing with him expert level experience in AutoCAD and many other design management programs. Mr. Ramirez is now in charge of the Engineering and Estimating department, as well as maintaining all company servers, work stations and software applications.
